Just came off the street garabedian has made a bid to buy the TRUMP SOHO. The trump soho has gotten a bid from garabedian to buy the hotel . Garabedian has told his team that he loves the hotel and has been looking for a way into soho.

Jack Garabedian is currently raising capital for two new ventures: a hedge fund and a private equity fund which will primarily focused on real estate.
Garabedian has made a name for himself in the Florida real estate market and plans to use his experience to build a private equity fund which will acquire financially distressed properties throughout the United States and turn them into profitable, sustainable, and well-operated properties.
At present, Garabedian is meeting with prominent capital market experts and traders and will launch a series of hedge funds employing a variety of investment strategies early next year.

Last week during New York’s annual Fashion Week, Jack Garabedian was seen briefly mingling with designers Vera Wang, Donna Karan, and Tommy Hilfiger. Reportedly, Hilfiger is interested in acquiring Garabedian’s DiLauro fashion line.
Garabedian plans to open a flagship store on Madison Avenue during the latter half of 2012. The store will be approximately 6000 sq. ft and will feature three distinct fashion lines including high-end dresses, custom designed mens suits and casual wear.
Sources close the deal say that Garabedian will launch this project solo, without partners. More details to come.

Hagop “Jack” Garabedian is the 3rd largest land owner in Florida. In recent months his company, JacMar Holdings, has acquired City Place, Continuum South Beach, and Bal Harbour Shops. Keep an eye out for JacMar as rumor has it, Garabedian isn’t done in Florida or New York.

Jack Garabedian, is in closed door negotiations to purchase both theFontainebleau and Mandarin Oriental Hotels located in Miami Beach.
These properties are currently owned by Island Capital and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Sheik of Dubai.
According to sources close to the deal, Garabedian traveled to Miami earlier to month on his newly acquired Global Express 5000 and plans to continue hotel operations. At present, Garabedian has no plans for any major renovations as these properties are already in pristine condition and profitable.
